About

Wild Tame created an animated film celebrating the past, present, and future of the Yokohama Medical Association.

For over a century, the association has played a central role in protecting public health in Yokohama, responding to moments of crisis as well as the everyday needs of the community. From leading treatment efforts during a cholera outbreak in 1916, to supporting medical response during the COVID-19 pandemic, including the Diamond Princess incident at the start of the pandemic, the association’s work reflects a long-standing commitment to care.

Alongside emergency response, the animation also highlights ongoing initiatives such as home healthcare and preventative medical checkups, which continue to support the health and well-being of Yokohama’s citizens.

From scripting and storyboarding through art direction and animation, Wild Tame was responsible for the entire production.
