About

It’s back, reimagined through anime

We were commissioned by Netflix to film a series of interviews at Production I.G for Terminator Zero, the franchise’s first anime adaptation. Speaking with creator Mattson Tomlin, actor Rosario Dawson, character designer Masashi Kudō, and members of the animation team, the piece explores how an established science-fiction world was reinterpreted through a distinctly Japanese animation context.

Working inside Production I.G, our role went beyond the technical production of the interviews. We helped facilitate bilingual conversations between the creative teams, shaping a space where the discussion could move naturally between the franchise’s history, the challenges of adaptation, and the choices behind the series’ visual and narrative approach.
