Wild Tame was commissioned by Netflix to shoot and edit a featurette focused on Studio Colorido’s animated film 好きでも嫌いなあまのじゃく (My Oni Girl).

Studio Colorido is one of Japan’s most distinctive animation studios, known for its emotionally grounded storytelling and painterly visual style. The studio previously gained wide acclaim for films such as Penguin Highway, which established them as a creative voice capable of blending everyday realism with gentle fantasy.

The featurette centres on an interview with the film’s director and art director, reflecting on the motivations behind My Oni Girl and the creative decisions that shaped its world, characters, and tone. Our role was to create space for thoughtful conversation, while visually supporting their insights into the animation process.

Wild Tame handled both production and post-production for the piece, shaping it into a film that offers audiences a deeper understanding of the studio’s approach and the care behind the work.
