The Economist: Safe Cities Index 2019

Tokyo has long ranked high in the Safe Cities Index, and we were delighted to be approached by the Economist Intelligence Unit to make a video announcing the results of the 2019 index – in which Tokyo again ranked No.1.

For this project, the interviews of the Tokyo Governor and the Deputy Mayor of Paris were filmed by veteran cameraman and friend of Wild Tame, Robin Probyn. We were tasked with working collaboratively with the EIU to develop a script and storyboard, before going on to create the infographic, carry out the edit, and add the final subtitles.
