What personal data we collect through our website and why we collect it
Google analytics, Facebook (including Instagram) and Twitter
We use Google analytics to provide us with anonymized information related to who is using our website and how they are using it. You can choose to opt out of this by installing Google’s Opt-out plugin. We also use cookies from third-party vendors such as FaceBook and Twitter to enable you to more easily share our content. These cookies also serve to track your activity across websites – data that is collected by these third party sites to customize your user experience (including the serving of ads). Comments
Comments are disabled, but if somehow visitors leave comments on this site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, which is highly unlikely, but we like to future-proof our policy, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Contact form
It almost goes without saying that by submitting information via our contact form, your data is shared with us. In addition to the text that you manually enter into the contact form, the site will collect your IP address and may collect additional information about you, such as the browser that you are using.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

Firewall
Our website has a third-party firewall installed that monitors site activity for suspicious activity to protect both our users and ourselves. To do this, it collects IP addresses, and determines locations based on these. It may also use cookies to allow or block access by specific users.
Who we share your data with
As a matter of course, we do not share your data with anyone outside of Wild Tame Co., Ltd. However, in the event of a data breach or other exceptional circumstances we may be compelled to share user data with the authorities or our data security insurance providers.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
We may also retain indefinitely data obtained via third party providers such as Google Analytics, Facebook or Twitter through the dashboards that these companies provide, or exported reports.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

How we protect your data
We strive to keep our website secure and up to date through the use of automatic updates and security features such as a firewall and anti-spam filter, and the use of two-factor authentification to protect our server. We adhere to password best practices, and minimize the number of people with access to our systems.
What data breach procedures we have in place
We actively monitor for potential data breaches through the use of multiple monitoring systems that will alert us to suspicious activity and enable us to swiftly lock our systems down. In the event of a data breach in which it is identified that personal information has leaked, we will contact identified affected individuals or companies within 36 hours.

Project data management
If we have the happy opportunity to work with you on your creative communications project, it is likely that you will need to share confidential information with us related to your business.
We take the protection of our clients’ information very seriously and have invested in enterprise-grade data management solutions. These enable us to securely store your data during and after projects and share it with our team members located both in our Tokyo office and in remote locations, for the purpose of delivering the project.
All files at rest are encrypted using 256-bit Advanced Encryption Standard. We use SSL/TLS to protect data in transit between our local machines and our remote data storage service.
Your files are stored locally in two locations in Tokyo, Japan, and also saved remotely using a highly-rated enterprise-grade secure online data storage solution.
The sharing of files is tightly controlled, and Wild Tame employees receive regular training on the importance of data security.
For projects involving video, we store your video files for a minimum of one year, and by default always provide our clients with a copy of the raw material.
